WineOS by Graševina Croatica: Osijek Celebrates Wine Once Again This Weekend
Just one day remains until the wine event of the year in eastern Croatia. On January 16 and 17, 2026, Osijek will once again become the centre of the wine and gastronomy scene. The Osijek-Baranja County Economic Centre will host WineOS by Graševina Croatica, the 11th edition of the wine, delicacies and lifestyle fair that has grown over the years into the most significant wine event in eastern Croatia, symbolically marking the beginning of a new wine year.
More than 150 exhibitors will showcase around 800 wine and spirit labels from Croatia and abroad across more than 2,800 square metres of exhibition space. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Italy, France, Spain, Argentina and Moldova.
The WineOS programme offers an ideal combination of wine, gastronomy and education. On the main stage, visitors can enjoy the Cooking Show by Podravka, where top chefs will prepare selected dishes and reveal their culinary secrets. Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste their creations free of charge, with a special focus on food and wine pairing.
This year’s educational programme also features professionally guided wine tours, held every hour from 3 PM to 6 PM, with registration available at the Croatian Sommelier Club stand. The tours will be led by recognised experts in sommellerie and wine education. Visitors can also attend Masterclass workshops designed for everyone looking to deepen their knowledge of wines and wine styles.
Another exciting and interactive experience is the HAPIH Blind Date, where visitors can take part in blind wine tastings and wine duels, putting their senses and knowledge to the test as they try to identify different wine labels.
This year also brings the return of People’s Choice, the competition in which visitors vote for the best wines at WineOS. Visitors will have the opportunity to select their favourites, while everyone who votes and provides their contact details will be entered into a prize draw for valuable prizes.
WineOS by Graševina Croatica is organised by the Dekanter Association, with Graševina Croatica as co-organiser, and with strong support from Osijek-Baranja County, the City of Osijek, and numerous institutional and business partners. This year’s fair is also held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. Special emphasis is placed on B2B networking, further confirming WineOS as a key platform for connecting winemakers, hospitality professionals, hoteliers, distributors and business visitors. Tomorrow at 3 PM, WineOS will open its doors, and Osijek will once again host a wine experience that brings together quality, knowledge and enjoyment. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the Economic Centre or through Eventim. Everyone is welcome!
