It is no coincidence that the event’s tagline includes the words “THE ART OF GOOD LIVING.” Life truly is better when the basic need for food and drink is combined with the art we call hedonism – when everyday necessities become an experience for all the senses.
Slavonia and Baranja are synonymous with exceptional food, wine and enjoyment. Yet, until 2014, the region lacked a central event that could showcase all of this – and that is where WineOS came in.
We started as a festival of wine and delicacies and have since grown into a fully-fledged wine and gastronomy fair, bringing together exhibitors, industry professionals and visitors in one place. WineOS has challenged preconceptions about Slavonian wines and cuisine, demonstrating that our region not only follows gastronomic trends but also helps shape them.
With each edition, we continued to improve both the programme and the venue. For its ninth edition, WineOS moved to the Osijek Economic Centre – the largest and most modern exhibition venue in the region, whose infrastructure provides excellent opportunities for the continued development of the event.
The twelfth edition of WineOS will once again take place at this multifunctional exhibition venue in January 2027.
Founded in 2013, the Dekanter Association launched educational programmes focused on wine and wine and gastronomy tourism, as well as organising trips to wine regions across Croatia and neighbouring countries. Since the earliest editions of WineOS, Dekanter has played a key role in organising the fair, contributing to its professionalism, raising the profile of Osijek and the wider region, and keeping visitors informed. In 2019, the association took the leading role in organising the event.
Knowledge lies at the heart of Dekanter. Our members and supporters are curious, knowledgeable and passionate – something that often impresses winemakers and provides valuable support to tourism organisations in developing new programmes and experiences. Our goal remains to further develop the region’s wine and gastronomy culture and enable every visitor and tourist to experience the very best of Slavonia and Baranja.
Since its first edition in 2014, WineOS has become a central meeting point for the wine and gastronomy scene of eastern Croatia.
Visitors enjoy wines, delicacies and workshops year after year.
Local and international winemakers, food producers and partner organisations showcase their products.
